Last month, I had enlisted the help of a Search Angel to help me find my mom's birth father's family. Or at least confirm my DNA findings. I was right. Now I can put that to rest. All involved are dead but I do have some 2nd, 3rd and 4th cousins that match up with my DNA. I really just wanted to put a name in that part of the family tree so I could research the ancestors. Too bad my mom and sister are no longer alive - it would have been something fun for all three of us to do.
I do wish I had a photo of the man - I do have a photo of his parents - my great grandparents. That's something. Just something I have to keep my eye on.
I've also been cleaning up - grouping and reorganizing the DNA groups to what families on Ancestry. Boy is that a job. Gives me a headache. But I want everything organized.
Other than that, I haven't been working on anything pressing.
